Honoring Alice Shaw Kaae

In 2018, WISN installed a six-and-a-half-foot black granite monument in Lahaina, Maui to honor Alice Kaehukai Shaw Kaae (1867-1956), the last traditional guardian of Mokuhinia. He ‘olelo nei ke kupuna i kekahi mo`olelo kahiko, mai ka wa kahiko. The Kupuna is telling an ancient story from the past. Alice’s memorial, Lahaina News
