Western and Indigenous Science Unite to Conserve the Snow Leopard

The video documents an historic, five-day gathering of Western scientists and indigenous cultural practitioners in Kyrgyzstan, merging Western and indigenous approaches to scientific knowledge. Facilitated by the Snow Leopard Conservancy and the Worldwide Indigenous Science Network, with major funding from The Christensen Fund, we created a pathway for cultural practitioners to have a voice in the global planning for snow leopard conservation.
